Selene is a beautiful brown patched tabby van Maine Coon female who , combines the size and wonderful boning of her sire, with the long, luxurious coat of her dam. She is a large, lovely girl with a beautiful coat! We would like her to go to a home where she can have all the personal attention she deserves!

Artemea Bouncing Bocce (born 05/27/2003)

Combining the heavy boning, strong muzzle and oblique eyeset of her sire with the lovely shaggy coat and sweet personality of her dam, Artemea Vanna White (now at home at Mysti Isle Cattery in Maryland). Bocce is a lovely brown classic tabby with white girl with a wonderful ly loving disposition. She adapts easily to a household with other pets and children and loves to be loved.

Although we tried to breed her several times, we could never get Zahar pregnant…so we have decided to let her go to a new home where she can be a very special, loved kitty. We think she would be happiest as the only cat, or in a household with just one other pet. Not a huge girl, but beautiful!

”Rapunzel” is QUITE the talker, and will let you know WHENEVER she wants something! She is VERY fun to be with, loves to play, yet can be gentle and loving too. A lovely, lovely girl!
CH Artemea Rapunzel the Lady will be also be traveling to Austria, to join Selene in a European breeding program. Double congratulations to Ulrike, her new owner!

OUR POLICY FOR ADOPTING A RETIRED
MAINE COON
Maine Coons are extremely adaptable cats and we have never had any problems with older cats bonding to their new owners. We attribute this to the care we take in screening potential "matches" to make sure the Artemea kitty and the new family will make a happy connection and are "right" for each other, as well as the love and attention we have given our kitties from birth. Our policy for adoption is similar to our contract for selling pet/show kittens. However, the price is much discounted, and is usually 1/2 the kitten price. We require a contract similar to our kitten contract, and offer the same health guarantees. Specifically:
1. No declawing of cat to be allowed
2. No free roaming of cat outdoors
3. We must receive pictures once your cat is home, to ensure you are both happy
4. If you ever must give up the cat due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to be contacted first to take the cat back. If we can not do this, we will assist in helping place the cat into another home.
5. Cat must be kept current on all inoculations.
We are careful in placing our cats, and have maintained excellent relationships with the owners who have adopted Maine Coons from our breeding program in the past. |
